If you are a businesswoman on the move and have to deal with numerous different technologies, you may be pleased
to hear that this is set to get easier.According to Dr Marie Puybaraud, research director at Johnson Controls, people often have to get technologies working together and many do not share information well, the BBC reports. She added: "By 2030, all these pieces of kit will be embedded throughout the environment and become completely transparent. "A fully integrated set of technologies will follow users wherever they are. The whole focus is on user empowerment." Johnson Controls recently produced a report which suggested that businesses are becoming more mobile and employees spend less time in offices. It states that the UK will eventually move into a situation whereby from the moment someone wakes up, the world will be aware of their needs. For example, walls could be screens showing diaries, documents and video conferences. If the idea of working away from the office appeals to you, you can speak to your employer. Organisations are obliged to consider requests from parents of young or disabled children and, according to Directgov, there is often a good business case for allowing workers to operate from home.
