Hi there, I know this is a bit previous but I can't wait to see the film MAMMA MIA. Having never seen the musical version, but a bit ABBA fan, I am going out with around 10 girlfriends next week to see it - having a drink and a bite to eat beforehand! I am especially going for the male totty - Pierce Brosnan & Colin Firth.....mmm!! Will post a review next week.
Always make 'me' time - it's just an excuse for an eve out with the girls - and I'll feel re-energised the next day!

Okay, funny story time! Off I went the night before last all excited about having dinner and catching up with friends, waiting to see Mamma Mia. When we got to the cinema, shock horror, they only had 3 seats left! Needless to say we were all gutted, but decided to go and drown our sorrows with another drink and see the film next week.
So, sorry I can't review it - as I haven't actually seen it yet. Oh well, Pierce Brosnan got away with it lightly then!!!! Hubby thought it was hilarious that I came home all disappointed...

Hoorah, finally saw Mamma Mia yesterday at the cinema.....only took 5 attempts to actually get tickets. It was soooo funny, cheesy but what a pick me up. I challenge anyone not to feel good when they come out! Pierce Brosnan was gorgeous - as ever - and Colin Firth not bad either. For those of you who've seen it, the end concert scene was histerical wasn't it?? So, if you are looking for some entertainment to lift the mood or just some good old girls time, go and see it. I give it 10/10 - looking forward to hubby buying me the DVD when it comes out, so I can sing along in the privacy of my own living room!!!

I saw Mamma Mia on Saturday..... My daughter bought tickets online for my husband and I herself and the two children. My husband hasn't been to the Cinema (or pictures) as he calls it since we saw Ghandi in Aylesbury Cinema.... how long ago was that!! To go to a cinema with eight different screens and films showing astounded him!!!
What a fantastic film and soo funny - Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth were gorgeous but not very good singers - but that didn't matter. The final concert scene certainly was hysterical. Can't wait to go and see it again. To crown everything I got the CD today for my Birthday. How good is that!

I went to see it before I moved over to Canada. I went with my girlfriends, my mum and aunt, daughter and friends. IT WAS GREAT. Totally loved it, felt quite liberated afterwards. I have to say though, the "Slipping Through my finmgers" song really made me cry. My husband and son are going to see the new Star Wars and my daughter (who's 9) want to go see MAMMA MIA Again!

What a Fab movie!!! such a hoot. I had no idea it was going to be so funny. I went from laughing, crying, singing, clapping it was amazing.
I took my daughter, motherinlaw and sisterinlaw who all enjoyed it
I will be going again, maybe next week and totally agree that it is a great pick me up.
