ASK THE EXPERT – TEENAGERS AND EXAM SUCCESS 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi everyone,

I’d like to introduce myself: My name’s Lysette (pronounced Lee – zette) and I’m a learning expert, being a trainer of NLP and having taught for 20 years.

I set up my company, Sounds Positive, to help people solve problems and achieve goals and one of the things I feel passionately about is helping youngsters understand how to learn effectively.

We’re all different. This might sound like the beginning of a Monty Python sketch, but it’s true! No two people share the same personalities, values, beliefs or indeed the way that we process information.

What does this mean?

It means that the more we understand about our own most effective way of learning, it gets easier and easier to achieve the success we deserve, whether it’s boning up on information to become an expert in our professional field, or whether it’s passing exams with flying colours, enabling us to pursue the careers of our dreams.

In just a few hours you can understand what you need to do in the future to have your brain work to the best of its ability, knocking off hours of slogging over revision and increasing your exam results by several grades.

The best thing is that not only is it true that once you know how to do this, you’ll have the understanding and skills for life, but you’ll begin to enjoy the learning process. Your self-esteem will rocket as you prove time and time again that you know what you’re doing.

Let me know if you’re interested in hearing more about this and about the people I’ve helped….

The computer programmer who was revising 120 hours per exam…
The trainee policeman who’d failed a crucial exam twice already…
The fourteen year old who’d panic and blurt any old thing if you asked her about bio-chemistry…
The fifteen year old student whose enormous workload was causing her to consider leaving school at the earliest possible opportunity…

… until they found out how their brain processes, stores and retrieves information…

If you’d like to find out what happened, let me know. I’d be delighted to tell you!
