Relationship History
The Pampered Chef® UK began its partnership with Cancer Research UK in 2007, for the Help Whip Cancer® campaign. The aim of the partnership is to raise vital funds for research into breast cancer and to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.
Throughout Breast Cancer AwarenessMonth in October, limited-edition pink products are available for purchase and for each product sold £1 is donated to Cancer Research UK. During October, customers can also host Help Whip Cancer® Fundraising Cooking Shows where up to 25 percent of Show sales are contributed to Cancer Research UK. In the first year of the partnership, more than £173,000 was donated to Cancer Research UK.
The Need
According to Cancer Research UK, breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer among women. One woman in nine will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, and more than 44,000 cases are diagnosed each year in the UK alone. Thanks to early detection through regular mammograms and effective treatment, the five-year survival rate has improved from 50 percent in the early 1970s to an astounding 80 percent now.
Funding
Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of breast cancer research in the UK. They rely almost solely on donations from the general public; they receive virtually no government funding. It is only with support from companies like The Pampered Chef® and individuals that Cancer Research UK is able to continue their life saving work.

Best of luck with your efforts Nina! I donate to CR as my life has been touched by relatives with cancer. Love the sound of the pink products (my fave colour), hope you get lots of bookings.

Hi Nina
I too support Cancer Research. Can you post photos of your pink products on the site to stimulate our buying. How about organising a much larger event that our members can come to and support this fantastic and well worth while charity.
Sue
