Hi

 I have just had the most unbelievable day!    Firstly my in-laws have invited my children for a sleep over - that's a first!  Then a friend called to say did I want to go to the spa with her, she had a guest pass and I have no children at home - perfect timing or what....   guess where I went this morning!    But when I got there myfriend is all funny and acting a bit peculiar and I'm left wondering oh what has happened and then she tells me she has won a years membership at the rather lovely exclusive spa - WOW I say that's fantastic!   Then she says she wants to introduce me to the Spa's manager and PR person, not qute sure where this is going?, no neither was I....

The YEARS full membership is for 2 people and she gave the other membership to me!    Whooooohoooooo !!!!!!!

I did say 'Are you sure?' a million times and her answer was always YES.

I still can't quite believe it.  I woke up late and thought what's the point in having a shower, my hair will go frizzy anyway I'm going to a spa plus 'I am never going to see them again anyway', then I thought I need to shave my legs - oh well they aren't that bad and 'I'm never going to go there again anyway'.  Then I couldn't find my best cossie and thought who cares 'I'm never going to go there again anyway'!   Then I thought about taking my trainers etc and thought what's the point in going to the gym 'I'm never going to do it again'  I'll just go an relax and chill - HOW WRONG WAS I !   I AM GOING FOR A YEAR !!!!!

Well the day didn't end there I got home and Graham had finally sorted out a chippy to fit all our new doors and the bedroom fitters are arriving tomorrow too, (I have been waiting months and not a sign of progress...).  Then I opened my mail and I have won complimentary tickets to the Spirit of Christmas fair which I went to 2 years ago and it was wonderful!  I so very nearly bought tickets 2 days ago when I saw it advertised.   

Then I checked my emails and my figures and the team are doing so brilliantly, I am glowing with pride for them, the month isn't even finished and they have smashed all 2008 records in October - what credit crunch!

Tonight I did an interview and have signed up a new lady who will be my first recruit out in Cyprus, Pampered Chef is so good for people who need to move about because of their husbands job but if you told me yesterday I was to have a team in Cyprus I would have laughed.  It's a brilliant opportunity for her, she can build her business there and then move back home in a couple of years having set it all up - smart lady.

And now I have just taken my puppy out for his last wee and it is snowing, in fact my garden is all white, it looks beautiful.    What a day.......
