Hi everyone,

Recently I posted a blog about me and my business being shortlisted for a National Award by the Federation of Image Consultants.....well, this Wednesday I had to find my way to the Head office of Colour Me Beautiful to be interviewed for my achievements.  There I was all confident and practised vital facts and info about myself and my business so far, then found myselfsitting outside their office waiting to be called in.  I felt like a naughty school girl outside the headmaster's office (not an experience I've had, but I could picture myself!).  I could hear muffled voices, clearly talking about me before I went in - I tried to block them out as the last thing I needed to hear was anything to put me off my stride.

They then called me in, and I was faced with a panel of 4 judges - this really now felt like the interview process on The Apprentice! Except I had them all at once.... Anyway, nothing to worry about - it all went swimmingly, only had 30 minutes, but it felt like 5!  The deed is now done, and I'll have to wait to the National Conference Dinner on October 10th to find out who the winners are for the various categories - and collect my trophy for the Best New Image Business (!)

Only 2 weeks to go then.....fingers are still tightly crossed.
