Susan would be the first to admit she is very surprised to be involved in her new venture, The Business Womens Café.  The internet and Susan have co-existed for many years without too much involvement.  Susan was also a late developer in the network marketing approach to business development and was not really looking for any new time consuming activities in her already busy life.

Having received many invitations to attend an Athena Networking Group lunch Susan finally succumbed and duly turned up at the relaunch of the High Wycombe group being hosted by the new Regional Director Sylvia Baldock and the rest you could say is history, though not quite.  Susan then progressed to a coffee meeting when she met Sue Roberts and Sue had an idea.  The idea was very intriguing and required some serious consideration.

Inspiration duly took hold and the breadth and depth of the business concept and how she could help finally fell into place in Susan’s mind.  Here was an opportunity to help women who wanted to be or were already in business develop their skills and confidence  and maximise their business potential.  For the past 24 years Susan has been running her own Training and Development business, working mainly for multinational organisations with a particular interest in developing leaders and managers through the development of their interpersonal skills.   So this was very similar except the target audience was purely women.

Prior to forming Key Consultants Ltd, Susan was employed for almost 10 years by British Airways as a Training Officer then a spell in Industrial Relations and finished her career with the airline as Personnel Manager for Flight Crew.  
Since she founded Key Consultants Susan has been an avid learner and has an MA in Management Learning from Lancaster University, qualifications in NLP, Life Skills Coaching, psychometric testing and is a Member of the CIPD.

Susan is married with a 24 yr old son, a step son and step daughter both in their early 30's. In her spare time Susan is a voracious reader, spends time gardening and in the gym.
